we are planning a friendly tournament for school kids during summer. Possibly a Swiss style open tournament with 5 rounds. I started exploring tools and this is the best I found so far. Easy, friendly and all basic feature what I was looking for.

I was planning to display this standing section on a big projector, so everyone knows the current standing.

Only suggestion I have is, I don't want to show all these columns to public, so if you could add an ability to control which columns to display will be a huge value add. Thanks in advance

Thank you for the feedback, that’s a great idea for school tournaments where simplicity is key.

While the specific feature to hide/show individual columns isn't implemented yet (I've added it to my "to-do" list!), I have a solution that might work perfectly for your projector setup:

The "Public" Toggle:

When you create your tournament, make sure to switch the "Public" toggle to ON.

Projecting: This generates a clean public link that is perfect for displaying on a big screen.

Sharing: You can share this link via WhatsApp, email, or QR code so parents and kids can follow the standings and pairings in real-time on their own phones.

Chess-Results Integration:

If you want to make the experience even more exciting for the kids, you can also select the "Publish to Chess-Results" option. This will sync your tournament with the official Chess-Results portal, making your school event look and feel just like an official FIDE tournament!
